On October 20th, Alberta’s Municipal Elections will take place, providing you with an opportunity to remove the ultra-woke, anti-family council members in Red Deer. This is extremely important! Here’s why:

Last September, your nine-member City Council voted on a principled motion that would have defunded the neo-Marxist, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs that your taxpayer dollars are currently being wasted on by the City of Red Deer.  

In case you didn’t know, DEI is a Trojan horse to disguise the promotion of harmful, anti-Christian LGBT ideology, including extreme transgenderism.

Outrageously, the motion was defeated by a vote of 5 to 4. The five members of Council who voted against this common-sense motion included Mayor Ken Johnston and Councillors Bruce Buruma, Cindy Jefferies, Lawrence Lee, and Dianne Wyntjes.

You, your children and grandchildren, your values... and your hard-earned money were betrayed by these individuals!

Therefore, CLC is calling on our supporters throughout Red Deer to ensure that these five Council members are defeated in the municipal elections this October. 

How? 

By making all your friends and relatives aware that they voted to waste your hard-earned taxpayer dollars to promote LGBT indoctrination under the guise of DEI. Let’s be sure to vote them out!

However, unseating the bad guys is only one aspect of the challenge. The other is to replace all five of them with anti-woke, pro-family candidates.

The Good Councillors Who Deserve To be Re-elected

There were also four Councillors who voted in support of the motion to defund the City’s propagandistic DEI initiatives.

We endorse the re-election of at least two of those Councillors, who also happened to give perfect answers to CLC’s candidate questionnaire when they ran for office. They are Chad Krahn and Kraymer Barnstable. Please plan to re-elect Mr. Krahn and Mr. Barnstable in the upcoming municipal election.

The other two, Councillors Victor Doerksen and Vesna Higham, although they voted correctly on this DEI motion, did not answer CLC’s candidate survey, and so we are not able to endorse them at this time.
